New-York ComicCon du 6 au 9 octobre 2016
 
Dernière grosse convention de l'année, la ComicCon de New-York (6h de décalage) se déroule semaine prochaine du 6 au 9 octobre avec ses promesses de news (les sollicitation ssortant après, ça ne devrait pas être une redite logiquement).


2ème vague de DC Rebirth? Nouvelles séries Marvel? Indés à la fête?
A voir donc.

Nouvelle série Batwoman dès février par Marguerite Bennett et Steve Epting qui accompagneront Super Sons et Justice League Of America!

cela débutera par un Rebirth en février puis la série débutera en mars.
James Tynion IV co-écrit le 1er arc et Detective Comics en janvier sera un prologue.

Readers of the current DETECTIVE COMICS run have seen firsthand the prominent role that Kate Kane, a.k.a. Batwoman, plays in training Spoiler, Orphan, Clayface, Red Robin and even Nightwing—the next generation of Gotham City’s protectors.

This February, Marguerite Bennett (DC COMICS BOMBSHELLS, BATGIRL, EARTH 2: WORLD’S END) will be writing the new adventures of the heroine in an ongoing monthly series scheduled to debut in February 2017, with art by Steve Epting – his first work for DC in more than fifteen years. As part of the next wave of REBIRTH titles, the February title will be a REBIRTH-themed one-shot, with a new issue #1 to follow in March.

“Batwoman is yet another example of the character depth, richness and diversity present in Gotham City,” said Batman Group Editor Mark Doyle. “Fans have really responded to her role in DETECTIVE COMICS, and we all love Kate here in the Bat-office, so that made it an easy choice to return her to a solo series.”

As a preface to her new solo adventures, Bennett will join James Tynion IV on “Batwoman Begins,” a two-issue story arc in DETECTIVE COMICS. Following the Night of the Monster Men, Batwoman and Batman discover that the venom from the defeated monsters’ corpses is being sold as a bioweapon. After Batwoman comes face to face with the villain responsible, Batman gives Batwoman a mission that takes her around the world, creating the backdrop for her new solo series in February, whose first story arc will also be co-written by Bennett and Tynion IV.

“There has never been a heroine I have loved more than Batwoman,” said Bennett. “Her flaws, her ferocity, her struggle to rise above her own history and find a way to serve the greater good and those she loves—she’s always cut me straight to the bone.

“To be a queer woman and to see a queer woman as not just a part but a pillar of the Bat-family was life changing, inspiring and gave me the courage to pursue this career in comics. The opportunity to add to Kate Kane’s story and legacy is both an honor and a sincere dream come true.”

“I am very excited for the opportunity to work on Batwoman,” said Epting. “I love the character design and how she fits into the whole Batman mythos, and I’m looking forward to the artistic opportunities the story will provide. Batwoman has a rich visual history and I’m thrilled to be a part of it!”

  • Rappel de la future série Batwoman par Marguerite Bennett et Steve Eting.


  • L'auteur veut y amener l'ambiance de Batman: The Animated Adventures.

  • Elle veut éviter l'erreur comme quoi les personnages gays sont forcés à înspirer le sgens.

  • Kate pourchassera à travers le monde les vilains qui auront échappé à la Bat-Family.

  • La série explorera aussi les années manquantes suggérées lors du run de Greg Rucka.

  • Selon Steve Orlando, The Justice League of America est l’équipe qui ressemble à l’Amérique : le pays ayant changé depuis les 60’s, la série doit le refléter.

  • L’héroïsme n’est pas qu’un mot : cela peut s’attribuer à n’importe qui et réciproquement.

  • Comme annoncé, Ryan Choi, Killer Frost, Vixen et The Ray en seront les membres après des one-shots introductifs en janvier.


  • Ryan Choi se bat comme n’a jamais quelqu’un se battre.

  • Andy MacDonald dessine le titre, en alternance avec Ivan Reis donc.

  • L’auteur indique que The Ray est un personnage gay, étant lui-même bisexuel.

  • Sur Supergirl, Steve Orlando veut revenir au cœur même des personnages, ce que la série TV a su montrer.
    (d’où pas mal d’importations…)

  • Selon Joshua Willimason, DC lui laisse faire des choses qu’il n’aurait pas crû pouvoir faire sur Justice League/Suicide Squad.

  • En fait, Batman sait pour le Suicide Squad depuis longtemps mais ne l’a pas dit à son équipe qui décide de s’occuper de celle d’Amanda Waller.
    (ce n’est pas comme si Superman n’avait pas connu cela sur sa Terre…)

  • Une 3ème équipe sera impliquée et certains membres pourraient intégrer Justice League of America.

  • 25 personnages seront impliqués.

  • Harley Quinn devrait tirer son épingle du jeu.
    (non, pas croyable....:beu:)

  • L'identité du vilain ne peut pas être révélée.

  • Howard Porter dessine la dernière partie.
    (libéré de Scooby Apocalypse?)

  • Le prochain Superhero Girls OGN sera l'Odyssée revisitée avec Etrigan en professeur de poésie.

  • Trigon et Raven pourraient en être.

  • Un nouveau jeu DC Comics Legends arrive pour smartphone.

  • On pourra y créer sa propre équipe comme Justice League, Lantern Corps ou Suicide Squad.

  • Josh Williamson revient sur Frostbite qu'il qualifie de Mad Max dans la neige.

  • Midnighter & Apollo est la suite de Midnighter et revient sur leur rencontre.

  • Marguerite Bennett a un plan sur 5 ans pour DC Bombshells.
