Le héros Tommy Troy est un orphelin qui, grâce à une bague magique se transforme en super-héros adulte. On songe à Captain Marvel... Comme c'est un petit garçon pauvre, il travaille comme homme de peine chez le méchant radin M. March. D'autres histoires le montrent à l'âge adulte, exerçant le métier d'avocat.

Les adversaires ne sont malheureusement pas très fouillés.

Au final, une bande et un personnages plutôt moyens... Du moins, montre-t-ils que Kirby s'est déjà inspiré du monde des insectes pour imaginer un super-héros avant de travailler avec Stan Lee.
