TV WonderCon et MegaCon sont dans un bateau du 27 Février au 1er Mars

Le week-end du 27 Février au 1er Mars, les 2 conventions vont rivaliser de news (en espérant toutefois ne pas avoir de redites dans les annonces) : le décalage horaire devrait leur éviter de se marcher dessus.
Si DC (2 DC Nation et 2 DC Universe !!) et Marvel détachent un maximum de gens des 2 côtés, les autres ne sont pas en reste surtout à San Francisco : il devrait y avoir pour tous les goûts !

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 27


1:00-2:00 Oni Press—Staff members and creators from Oni Press (the publisher of many great comics and graphic novels like Queen & Country, Scott Pilgrim, Courtney Crumrin, Stephen Colbert's Tek Jansen, and North World) present a look at upcoming projects, make exciting announcements, and give away free stuff! 1:30-2:30 Aspen Comics: Exclusive 2009 Sneak Peek—The Aspen Comics crew will reveal new details on their upcoming properties, highlighted by a special look at their exciting new series Executive Assistant: Iris. Frank Mastromauro (president), Peter Steigerwald (vice president), Vince Hernandez (editor-in-chief), Mark Roslan (director of design and production), J. T. Krul (Fathom, Soulfire), Ale Garza (Fathom), and Micah Gunnell (Shrugged preview Iris, Fathom, Soulfire, and Shrugged, followed by a one-on-one Q&A with fans. Room 104

2:30-3:30 Spotlight on Matt Fraction—One of the hottest writers in comics, the uncanny and invincible Matt Fraction (Uncanny X-Men, Invincible Iron Man) comes to WonderCon as a special guest for the very first time. 3:00–4:00 The Image Comics Show—Image kicks off their hometown show with a slate of exclusive announcements featuring some of your favorite creators, including Savage Dragon's own Erik Larsen as he discusses the controversial revamp of Savage Dragon featuring President Barack Obama! Find out the next word on this year's mega-crossover, Image United, and never-before-revealed news on Walking Dead, Spawn, Haunt, Youngblood and many more! A few lucky audience members will randomly receive one of the extremely limited edition WonderCon exclusive Savage Dragon #145 Barack Obama covers! Room 103

4:00-5:00 DC Nation—The DC Nation is back on the convention circuit and is gathering for WonderCon. 5:00-6:00 Marvel: Ultimate Comics—We told you the Ultimate Universe was no more, and Ultimatum is proving that. As an era ends, Ultimate Comics begins. Line editor Mark Paniccia is on hand to answer questions, drop a bombshell or two, and to welcome a surprise guest to make a jaw-dropping announcement! Room 103

12:00-1:00 Dark Horse—Director of publicity Jeremy Atkins and editor Shawna Gore (Creepy, Emily the Strange, Criminal Macabre), along with a cast of top creators, present an exclusive preview of all that Dark Horse has to offer in the coming year. With breaking news on all of your favorite Dark Horse titles, including early insight into the relaunch of the legendary Creepy anthology, be the first to know about everything from heroes to horror.
