"The Strange Case of The Spider and Mr. Hyde." The Spider: the most violent and ruthless crime fighter of all time. A cloaked, fanged, borderline crazy denizen of the dark force-feeding hard justice with a pair of '45's!

The man-creature, hands about the Spider's wrists, hoisted him off his feet and slammed him against the stone wall. The beast was powerful, incredibly so, for he suspended the Spider in midair and shook him like a child's rattle. Then he twisted, and hurled the Spider. Helpless, grasping consciousness by silken webs, Wentworth's back crashed into the low marble railing running along the balcony. Momentum carried him over the railing and hurtling towards death upon the theater floor 20 feet below.

Gage pushes John Dusk to the brink as Absolution kicks into high gear! John Dusk is in that situation now. Except the perp isn't in John's custody, he's in the NYPD's. And they don't torture. If John takes matters into his own hands, with everyone watching... everything changes. He's always told himself he brutalized criminals to save innocents. But will he NOT torture and kill to save himself, even if it means others die? John always knew there would come a time when he had to choose between his two lives. That time is now. And either way, there's no going back. He wants to be forgiven... but he doesn't want to stop. This series explodes into stores with a Regular cover by Jacen Burrows, Wraparound by Juan Jose Ryp and Crime Files Edition by Paul Duffield, as well as a Vigilante Retailer Order Incentive.

FREAKANGELS VOL 3 TPB

Written by Warren Ellis, art and cover by Paul Duffield.

Volume Three of award-winning author Warren Ellis' ongoing web comic, Freakangels, is here! This installment collects the entire third arc of the post-apocalyptic saga into 144 gorgeous, full-color pages. Twenty-three years ago, twelve strange children were born in England at exactly the same moment. Six years later, the world ended. Today, eleven strange 23-year-olds are living in and defending Whitechapel, maybe the last real settlement in flooded London. They've made a new friend, and together they successfully defended their home from raiders--but the post-apocalyptic drowned London that the eleven Freakangels survive in is never a safe place, and never surrounded by friends. In Freakangels: Volume Three, the FreakAngels begin to address how to build their community while a serial killer stalks in their midst. Everything almost comes crashing down around them as one of their own breaks their most valued rule. Ellis' ongoing story of a flooded London is beautifully illustrated in jaw-dropping detail by Paul Duffield, and every page is as much a work of art as it is a compelling and multi-layered story.

144 pages, $19.99 (Hardcover, limited to 2,000 copies, $27.99; signed hardcover, $39.99).
