X-O Manowar #50
Source : Comic Book Resources
Story by Robert Venditti, Jody Houser, Matt Kindt, [more...] Art by Doug Braithwaite, Diego Bernard, Rafa Sandova, [more...] Cover by Paolo Rivera, Marko Djurdjevic, Marcos Martin, [more...] Publisher Valiant Entertainment Cover Price: $4.99 Release Date September, 2016 In an age of rapid relaunches, a comic book publisher reaching issue #50 has become a rare feat -- and Valiant Entertainment is treating September's "X-O Manowar" #50 as such, and has announced the many talents contributing to the milestone (and final, for now at least) issue of the series that kicked off the current era of Valiant back in 2012. The main story of "X-O Manowar" #50 will bring "Long Live the King" to a close, from series writer Robert Venditti and illustrated primarily by Joe Bennett and Roberto de la Torre, joined by past "X-O" artists Cary Nord, Doug Braithwaite, Diego Bernard, Rafa Sandoval and Robert Gill. The 64-page issue will also contain stories from Jody Houser & Javier Pulido, Matt Kindt & Tomas Giorello plus Philip Tan, who'll be writing and drawing -- with "more along the way," according to Valiant. Last week, Valiant revealed the jam cover for "X-O Manowar" #50, illustrated by 50 different artists -- including X-O co-creator Bob Layton. Valiant announced Friday that Paolo Rivera, Marko Djurdjevic, Marcos Martin, Mico Suayan, Francesco Francavilla, Shane Davis, Pere Perez, Chip Zdarsky, Philip Tan, Kaare Andrews and Phil Jimenez will also additionally illustrate covers for the issue; several of which are seen here. Official Press Release After unveiling a massive cast of 50 leading talents for the largest-ever jam cover in comics history, Valiant is now proud to unveil the next massive revelation for X-O MANOWAR #50 – a colossal, 64-page anniversary spectacular crash-landing in stores everywhere this September! For the first time anywhere, Valiant is honored to reveal the star-studded, history-making roster of writers and artists slated to contribute to September's giant-sized X-O MANOWAR #50 finale – a blockbuster-style tribute to the vaunted, 56-issue run that set the Valiant Universe in motion! For centuries, the sacred X-O Manowar has stood unrivaled as the universe’s most powerful weapon. Today, will it equal Earth’s doom? An unthinkable alien race known only as The Torment has come to our world in search of the armor’s secrets. Now, they stand opposed by Aric of Dacia – former slave, noble warrior, resolute king, and current master of the armor’s near-limitless capabilities. But are one man…and one weapon…enough to repel a force capable of leveling a thousand civilizations? A whole new era for X-O Manowar begins here…and you won’t believe what’s coming next! First: the seismic final story arc, "LONG LIVE THE KING," goes out in a world-shaking blaze of glory with New York Times best-selling writer and longtime scribe Robert Venditti (Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps) and extraordinary artists Joe Bennett (52) and Roberto de la Torre (Daredevil) manning the front line, alongside an all-star battalion of artists from across X-O MANOWAR's landmark 56-issue run: Cary Nord (Conan), Doug Braithwaite (ARMOR HUNTERS), Diego Bernard (NINJAK), Rafa Sandoval (Green Lantern), and Robert Gill (BOOK OF DEATH)! Spanning X-O Manowar's five-year-long impact on the people of Earth, and setting the stage for star-spanning adventures yet to come in 2017 and beyond, no comic book fan can afford to miss the ultimate cosmic battle for the fate of Valiant's most powerful hero! Then: From all corners, the Valiant Universe assembles to salute X-O Manowar’s unparalleled impact as one of the longest running superhero series in comics today with all-new, never-before-seen tales and tributes from Jody Houser (FAITH) & Javier Pulido (Amazing Spider-Man), Matt Kindt (DIVINITY II) & Tomas Giorello (4001 A.D.: WAR MOTHER), Philip Tan (Suicide Squad), and more along the way! |

Je l'ai enfin récupéré, ça me faisait chier d'avoir les 49 précédents, le #0 et l'annual et d'avoir ce trou.
Et donc le print que j'ai est celui de Bob Layton. |
